Jimmie Harvey Randall, Jr. AKA Pap, was born in Houston, Texas on January 7, 1946, and after a hard, three year fight against cancer he passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home in Hockley, Texas on January 14, 2025.
Jimmie married his wife Mary Ann in Tomball, Texas on September 19, 1967 and made memories together raising their family for 57 years.
Jimmie worked for the American Can Company as a Millwright  in Houston as well as Crown, Cork, & Seal. He began his welding career in the late 70's. Jimmie joined the Boilermaker's Union Local 101 in 1998 of Denver, Colorado and retired in 2006. After he retired, he ran his welding rig for another 5 years.
Jimmie loved his time camping in the mountains with family and friends and looked so forward to it each year. He thrived on taking Jimmie III and Jimmie IV to cattle shows for many years and always watched the judges closely to be sure his boys had a fair look. You could often find him watching a rodeo, holding a fishing pole or at a slot machine during his free time. He had a passion for Native American history and visiting reservations. He also enjoyed reading about mountain men adventures.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Annette Randall; his parents, Jimmie H. Randall, Sr. and Jennie Bell Randall; and sister, Judith Ann Gorney.
Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Pate Randall; his children, Richard A. Randall, Jimmie H. Randall III and wife Linda, Betsy Ann Randall, and Tammie Randall Payne and husband Joe; his brother, John Randall and wife, Lynn; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Lacy (Scott), Justin (Tara), Ryndie, Hailey, Kamren, Taylor (Katlyn), Jimmie IV (Emily); 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and honorary family members, Terri Ledbetter, Clayton "Pistol" Goodrum and wife Beverly, Robin and Larry Pence, and Colleen Green.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375.  A funeral service for Jimmie will be held at 10am on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Klein Funeral Home, to be immediately followed by a committal service in Pate Sanders Cemetery, 27238 Dobbin-Huffsmith Rd., Magnolia, TX 77354. The family would like to have you join them for lunch following the graveside service located at Ashelynn Manor Events, 25276 Nichols Sawmill Rd, Magnolia, TX 77355.
