Ms. Jimmie Pauline Dwire Boyd was born November 17, 1941, in Groveton, Texas to Willie Baum Dwire and Jimmie Pauline McBride Dwire. She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, in Spring, Texas.

Formerly of Trinity County, Jimmie attended Groveton High School and went on to graduate Baylor University in 1964. Jimmie resided in Houston for most of her adult life where she raised her two children and had an extended career of 35 years before retiring as a teacher in the Spring school district. The most important things to Jimmie were her family and friends. She had a strong and genuine interest in the lives of others in both her personal and professional life. Her warmth, and magnetic personality, drew people to her and granted her the gift of being able to talk to anyone and everyone at any time. She was extremely personable and was quick to share a kind word and helping hand.

Ms. Boyd is survived by her son Sean Boyd of Houston, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Chris Cook of Montgomery, TX; grandson Winston Cook of Montgomery, TX; granddaughter Hannah Cook of Montgomery, TX; sister Ann Biscamp of Crockett, TX; brother  W.B. Dwire of Henderson, TX; brother Terry Dwire of San Marcos, TX; and numerous, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Baum Dwire, Sr. in 1973, and Jimmie Pauline McBride Dwire in 1985.

Viewings for Jimmie Pauline Dwire Boyd, 78, of Houston, will be held in the Klein Funeral Home - Tomball and Groveton Funeral Home. Services and interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, TX with Revlon Bell officiating.
