JESSIE P. BUSHNELL
1942-2020

Jessie Pearl Bushnell, 77 from Houston passed on to be with the Lord on February 26, 2020 at the age of 77. She was born October 22, 1942 in Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from what used to be known as Reagan High School in Houston, TX.

She is survived by her children Pamela Milligan and husband Dennis, Douglas Bushnell, Yvonne Spears, Annette Usher and husband Rusty.  She is also survived by sisters and brothers Samuel Peterson and wife Evelyn, Paul Peterson and wife Pat and John Peterson; sisters Inez Collins and husband Jr., Dorothy (Dot) Collins and husband James, Marilyn Cunningham and husband Jerry, Debby Akard and husband Bill and Bettie Miller .

She had 6 grandchildren Barry Smith, Jr. and wife Brandy, Desiree Reynolds and husband Ricky, Scott Spears and Wife Kelly, Jennifer Milligan and husband Mike, Alec DeLeon and Reagan DeLeon and 10 great-grandchildren and was loved by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Margaret Peterson, brothers William (Bill) Peterson, Robert (Bobbie) Peterson, George Peterson and Donald (Donny) Peterson; sister Elizabeth Peterson, niece Kimberley Peterson and nephew Rich Peterson.

Beyond being a loving mother, grandmother and an overall caring, sweet woman, Jessie enjoyed dancing with the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Bruce Gillies, Jr. and friends.

The family will be having a time of visitation on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Klein Funeral Home-Champion Forest. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the COPD Foundation at www.copdfoundation.org .
