Jesse "Jay" Francis Rogers IV, 39, of Spring, Texas passed away August 13, 2021.

Jay was born May 6, 1982, in Kansas City, Missouri to Jesse Francis Rogers III and Frances Houser-Rogers. He was the eldest of two children. Jay has one son, Jesse "JJ" Francis Rogers V.

Jay is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jesse "JF" Francis Rogers II and grandmother, Vera Rogers.

Surviving family members include his son, JJ Rogers and JJ's mother, Ariana (Sosa) Rogers of Spring, Texas; parents Jesse Francis Rogers III and Frances Houser-Rogers of Spring, Texas; sister Jillian (Rogers) Weatherford (Allan) of The Woodlands, Texas; nephews Jackson Weatherford and William Weatherford; grandparents George and Petra Houser of Kearney, Missouri; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in Texas, Missouri, and elsewhere.

Anyone who met Jay thought he was a kind, loyal, and fun-loving man. Jay was a lover of animals, especially his dogs Max and Jake. He was an incredible son, grandson, big-brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. More than anything else Jay loved his son, JJ. Jay is and will be missed by everyone who is fortunate enough to have known him.

Jay graduated from Klein High School in 2000 and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Houston. Jay worked in the natural gas industry beginning as an intern at Panhandle Energy and then at DCP Midstream for 14 years. Most recently Jay worked with Repsol in The Woodlands as a Commercial Trading Analyst.
