Jesse Max McNown flew home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 11, 2021.  He was a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and Friend.  Jesse was born on May 5, 1940 in Sedan, Kansas to Raymond Wesley and Nona Mae McNown.

In life, Jesse was a man of many accomplishments.  He married his high school sweetheart, Charlsie "Corky" Says, at a young age and through determination and dedication to his family, quickly obtained his pilot's license.  He piloted aircraft for ConocoPhillips for 38 years until his retirement.  He then flew private charters across the globe, raised cattle, played many rounds of golf, and loved his family ferociously.  He sang in the choir at church and was a committed member of Rose Hill United Methodist.  Jesse was a man with a charitable heart and gave selflessly to multiple organizations. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Davy Dean McNown, and son-in-law Allan Wilmes.

He is survived by his wife Corky McNown, brother Sherman McNown and wife Annie, sister Reta McNown, daughter Victoria Dudley and husband David, daughter Robin Wilmes, son Keith McNown and wife Melissa, granddaughter Samantha Mims and husband Jim, granddaughter Katie Braden and husband Douglas, grandson Spencer McNown, granddaughter Kelsie Wilmes, granddaughter Shannon Young and husband Michael, grandson Keaton McNown and wife Natalie, grandson Griffin McNown, four great grandchildren Tucker Haley, Charleigh Mims, Levi Braden and Max Young, and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
