?Jesse Avila, Jr. (64), of Houston, TX, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at home. A native of Houston, TX, and 1970 graduate of Klein High School, Jesse received his Bachelor of Arts from Houston Baptist University. Jesse exemplified Semper Fidelis during his service as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. In 1986, he married Deborah Ann Ciccolella and faced his next challenge: gaining 3 daughters. After a successful career in data management, Jesse turned his hand to entrepreneurship and launched his own successful business. Compassionate and committed, Jesse poured his heart and soul into protecting and providing for his loved ones. He set a high bar of working hard and attention to detail. He lived life to the fullest and loved to travel to new places – especially if that new place included a golf course. His absence will leave a hole the size of Texas in many, many hearts, but his loved ones can find comfort in the depth of his faith in God. Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; his three daughters and their husbands, Abigail and Matthew Speltz, Shannon and Andrew Frazier, and Kelly and Ryan Powell; his ten grandchildren, Elisa, Kaelie, Emily, AJ, Cody, Eva, Jackson, Lily, Chase, and Livia; his mother, Adelina Avila; and his siblings, Melba Avila Scudder, Paul Avila Sr., Steven Avila, Patricia Avila Jansen, Dwayne Avila, and William Avila. Jesse was predeceased by his father, Jesse Avila Sr., and his sister, Nancy Avila. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Klein Funeral Home. A service will begin at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Klein Funeral Home CyFair. Memorial donations may be made in Jesse's name to the MD Anderson Cancer Center or the Ronald McDonald House.
