Jesse Arnold, a beloved husband, father, pawpaw and son went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2023.

Jesse was born in Houston on December 11, 1964 to the late Walter Arnold and his dear mother Norma Arnold. Jesse attended Tomball High School. After high school, he went to Sam Houston State University on a football scholarship.

Jesse was an incredible man who dedicated his life to serving others. He was a member of the Tomball Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Jesse then joined the Houston Fire Department in 1985. He enjoyed every aspect of being a firefighter. He loyally served the citizens of Houston for 33 1/2 years, retiring, as Captain in 2017.

Jesse married his best friend Gina on October 8, 1988. They were married for 35 wonderful years. Jesse and Gina were blessed with 3 beautiful children, son Garrett and daughter-in-law Courtney, daughter Caitlin and son-in-law Tyler and son Brayden. They were also blessed with 5 precious grandchildren who were his world.

Jesse (PawPaw) will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He dedicated his life to being a man of God as well as being the best husband, father, PawPaw, son and friend that he could be. Jesse was a gift to all who knew him.

Jesse's family is at peace knowing he is now reunited with his father and his brother.

We the family, wish to express our deep appreciation for Dr. Vu and his entire medical staff. Jesse was blessed with the most caring and compassionate care team. We also want to thank our dear family and friends who have covered us in love and prayer throughout Jesse's courageous battle with cancer.
