Jerry Doyle Price, age 82, of Spring, Texas passed away December 13, 2022, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jerry was born to J.C. and Clara Price on December 15, 1939 in Bowie, Texas. He graduated from Ranger High School in 1958 and the University of Texas at Arlington in 1970. After serving in the United States Navy, he began a career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation which started in the Dallas Division in 1961 and included assignments as a Special Agent in the Omaha and Los Angeles Field Offices and ended with his retirement from the Houston Division in 1992. After his career with the Bureau, he and his wife Sue owned and operated J. Price and Associates, a private investigation company from 1992 to 2008.

Jerry was happiest when he was serving others. He had a genuine love for people and their spiritual and physical well-being. In the past fifteen years, he used his carpentry and repair skills to help neighbors, friends, and family. Additionally, he truly felt a calling to serve in the Widows Ministry at Champion Forest Baptist Church, Baptist Church Builders of Texas, and Providence Classical School.

Jerry married the love of his life, Sue Stone, on June 9th, 1962. They were blessed to share sixty-plus years of marriage and raised two sons. His greatest joy were his five grandchildren who called him Pop. He loved serving them bowls of Blue Bell ice cream, taking them out to eat, and turning them all into die-hard Dallas Cowboy fans.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Sue; son, Jeff and wife Cindy; son, Joel and wife Kerry; grandchildren, Candice and husband Devin, Caleb, Emma, Ellie Kate, and Brooke.

A memorial service will be held at Champion Forest Baptist Church, 15555 Stuebner Airline Road, Houston, Texas on Wednesday, December 21st at 1:00 p.m.
