Jerry Arlen Matthew passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 surrounded by family. Jerry was born November 25, 1930 in Yoakum, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Earle King Matthew and Eddie Merle Matthew and his wife of 58 years Leonore Agnes Matthew. He is survived by his brother Dennis Van Matthew and wife Dianne Matthew, and children Jo Matthew, Kane Matthew and his wife Denise Matthew, and Scott Matthew. Jerry had six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His greatest times were spent with family and friends, playing golf, and spending time at his farm and at Lake Livingston.

Visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, December 12th at Klein Funeral Home-Champion Forest Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 13th at Klein Funeral Home with graveside services following at 3:00 pm at County Line Cemetery near Yoakum, Texas.
