Jerry W Combs, 75, of Houston, TX passed away 12/25/2022.  He was born 2/22/1947 in Fort Hood, TX to the late Woodrow & Virginia Combs.

Jerry played football for LSU from 1967 – 1970. He then joined the Army where he did 2 tours of duty in Vietnam and was known for his pet mongoose that rode on his shoulders. After the service, Jerry entered the lumber industry where he worked for over 40 years. Jerry was currently working for Lincoln Lumber.

Jerry will be remembered for his love of golf, his laid-back disposition, and his great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rachel, dogs Putter & Par 3 and brothers Travis and Danny Combs.
