Obituary

Jerry Paul Burrow, 74, of Tomball, Texas went home to our Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital after over a month-long battle with COVID. Jerry was born on October 13, 1946 in Milam, Texas to Frank Morgan Burrow and Doris Elaine Wilson. Jerry was the middle child of three being born in between his brother, Douglas Wayne, and sister, Mary Frances. Jerry grew up in the Sabine River area in deep East Texas and attended elementary through high school in Shelbyville, Texas. He went on to attend college at Lamar State College of Technology in Beaumont earning his degree in Business Administration. Jerry served our country in the National Guard for eight years where he was active duty for half of his tenure.

In his professional life, Jerry was the manager of vendor services at Wyman Gordon formerly Cameron Ironworks for 42 years before retiring in February of 2017. In his personal life, Jerry valued his Faith and family above all else. He regularly attended mass at St. Anne Catholic Church and spent most all his time with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren. There was never a sporting event for his kids or grandkids that you would not find Jerry sitting in the stands with pride and joy. The remainder of his time was spent at his property in East Texas where he regularly attended to the grounds and his horse Princess.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Katheryn Ann (Hancock) Burrow of Tomball, Texas, two children Bradley Cole Burrow (fiancé Leslie) of Tomball, Texas, and Kimberly Ann (Burrow) Harvey (Jeff) of New Braunfels, Texas, his cherished grandchildren Mason Ryan Harvey, Brady Paul Burrow, Bryson Lane Burrow, Ty William Harvey, and Taylor Ann Harvey. He is also survived by his older brother, Douglas Wayne Burrow (Peggy) of San Augustine, Texas, his younger sister Mary Frances Burr (Tim) of Madisonville, Texas, his stepmother Sandra Janice Burrow of Milam, Texas, his younger brothers Bart Anthony Burrow (Aimee) of Spring Hill, Kansas, Frank Morgan Burrow, Jr. (Samantha) of Bronson, Texas, and Craig Calvin Burrow (Fabiola) of San Antonio, Texas, and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Doris Elaine Burrow on September 17, 2008 and his father Frank Morgan Burrow who died May 24, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 17 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Tomball, Texas. Jerry's viewing will start at 12:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 1:30 PM. Pallbearers for his service will include Bart Burrow, Morgan Burrow, Craig Burrow, Tim Burr, Jeff Harvey and Dalvy Mathic. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry's grandsons Mason Harvey, Brady Burrow, Bryson Burrow and Ty Harvey.
