Jerome Leo McBroom was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 30, 1958, and passed away from complications of Parkinson's Disease at the age of 64 in The Woodlands, Texas on April 3, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary P. McBroom, his brother John McBroom, and sister-in-law, Susan Roesler.

Jerome is survived by his loving wife, Rena' McBroom; his children, Jessie McBroom Kasper and husband Mike, and Michael McBroom and wife Becca; grandchildren, Eloise Mary Kasper, and Leo James McBroom; father, John Henry McBroom; siblings, Jeff McBroom and wife Barb, Lisa Grant and husband Richard, and David McBroom and wife Wendy, sister-in-law, Cindy Kahl and husband Tom, brother-in-law Bruce Roesler, and sister-in-law, Kim Adamian and husband John; mother-in-law, Cynthia Cox; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

An ambitious man, Jay worked hard and climbed the corporate ladder, finishing his career as Director of North American Sales at SK Hynix. Jay retired in 2014 and enjoyed his time car shopping, eating sushi, and spending time with his family. Throughout his many health struggles Jay remained strong and fought for many years. On his 64th birthday in 2022 Jay welcomed his first grandson, and just 10 weeks later his first granddaughter, whom he loved dearly.

Jay will be sorely missed by his loving family, dog Tia, and "gang" of friends. Services will be held at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in The Woodlands, TX on Friday, April 14. Rosary at 11:30 am and a service to follow at 12 pm.
