Our loving mother, Jerelyn Schwartzenburg Walker was called home to heaven on Sunday October 18, 2020. She passed peacefully with her family by her side after a valient fight with Cancer.

She was born on May 2, 1942 in Opelousas, LA but has considered Houston her home for over 52 years.

Mother is now reunited with her parents Elridge and Ellagene Schwartzenburg.

Jerelyn is survived by her loving and devoted husband Joe, her sons John Garrett & his partner David, Scott & his wife Beth and Bart with his wife Lisa. She was loved deeply by her grandchildren; Jordan, Ian, Peyton, Reese, Ryan, Lacey & Reagan. Mother was very close to her five siblings; Marvin Schwartzenburg, Jennifer Bellard, June Crader, Janet Crouch & Elridge Schwartzenburg, Jr. as well as their spouses and many nephews and nieces.

Jerelyn was always the life of every gathering. She was devoted to her countless friends from near and far. She loved art and painted with a very wide brush that not only painted canvas' but people as well. She will be dearly & deeply missed by so many.
