Jennifer Thornton, 55, of Spring Texas, passed away in her family's arms on December 5th, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 16th 1968, in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Jennifer was raised by her father, Frank Ploskonka and mother, Susan Herbst. Jennifer graduated high school from Plymouth Christian Academy and later attended Owens Community College where she earned a Degree in Nursing. She graduated with high honors and was awarded the Barber Rood award for outstanding performance.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Matthew Thornton; two sons, Austen Moore and Logan Moore and wife, Alexis Moore; one daughter, Erika Moore; three grandchildren, Ezra Moore, Ellie Moore, and Emrie Moore; two sisters, Cheryl Ploskonka and Jill Gazelle; her father, Frank Ploskonka and her mother, Susan Herbst; and numerous others.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Emme and her sister, Lori.

Jennifer was a Christian and loved reading the bible, praying for others, spending time with her family and friends, creating art pieces, and singing music; she had a servant's heart and was always the first to give; she loved to make others around her smile and could turn any serious situation into a comedy.

A burial service will be held on December 13th at 1 PM at Klein Memorial Park, 9714 Farm to Market 9290, Tomball, TX 77375 with Reverend, Brent Johnson officiating.
