Jennifer Lynn DeTrude-Bartel   ( May 27, 1975-May 27, 2019 )

Jennifer passed away at Tomball Hospital after suffering a heart attack at home. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA to John and Judy DeTrude and due to family corporate moves, she attended schools in Plymouth, MI, Hudson, OH and Klein. Her whole world was her children, Megan (16) and Zane (14), and she was a true Mama Bear in loving them. She is also survived by her parents, her sister Jill Dunham, husband Tim and their children Sam, Anna and Andy of Granville, OH. Jennifer is also survived by her Aunt Norma and Uncle Dan Dougherty of McMurray, PA, and her cousin Laura Napier and her husband John of Chicago.

After graduation she worked at several auto dealerships in the Houston area and also worked for Ford Motor Credit. She was a proud baseball and dance mother and volunteered at the children's schools.

A special thanks goes to Mandy and Joe Sullivan who were with us during the tragedy and to the staff at the Cardiac Care Unit who treated all of us with kindness.

A time for visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, Texas 77379.
