Obituary

On Wednesday, September 23, 2020, Jeffrey Paul Salinas, loving father, son, brother, and uncle, passed away at the age of 35. Jeff was born on February 11, 1985 in Houston, TX to Louis and Liz Salinas, the third of four sons. He graduated from Klein High School in 2003. Jeff was the artist of the family and expressed himself through various mediums, but his modus operandi was ink on skin.

Jeffrey was a brilliant tattoo artist and boasted an extensive portfolio of works that showed us his incredible technique and style. He was very much sought after by many tattoo enthusiasts for a chance to have him draw on them. Tattooing and art is a lifestyle, and Jeffrey was very much involved as it being one of his central loves.

Vladimir, Jeffrey's son, was an absolute blessing to Jeff and his family and instantly became Jeff's favorite person. There wasn't anything Jeff wouldn't do for this special boy. He taught Vlad the importance of family and the fondness of spending time with the ones you love. Jeff spent a lot of time with family and Vlad saw first-hand how important these values were to Jeff.

Jeff was funny. As a child, he could easily take control of the room and have an audience he had created crying from laughter. Jeff easily owned the spotlight with his humor. Even later in his life, he was quick witted and always prepared with a joke. He flourished on the smiles and laughter of others. And now the world is a little sadder without his humor in it.

All who knew Jeffrey loved him. He really was a special person. If Jeff liked you, you were in it for life with him. His bond of friendship was very strong and was always heartfelt. This is of course evident by the sheer number of people in his life who cared about him. He is important, and he will be missed.

Jeff is survived by his loving parents, Louis and Liz Salinas, his adoring son, Vladimir Danger, and his special love and Vlad's mom Chelsea Laws, his devoted brothers Trey and wife Esther and Billy and wife Cassie, his loving nephews and nieces Julian, Layla, Desmond, Naomi, Louie, Miles, and Teddy, all who will miss their Uncle Jeff terribly. Jeff is also survived by his Aunt Madeline and Uncle James, his Aunt Gail, Uncle Billy and many close cousins. Jeff was predeceased by his closest brother, David, just two months ago.

We love you Jeff, always have and always will.
