Jeffrey Alan Patton, 73 of Spring Texas, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday February 27, 2023 surrounded by his wife and daughters.

He was born on October 5, 1949 to John and Nora (Blanton) Patton of Alger, Ohio

He married Carol Nickell from Roundhead Ohio on June 15, 1979.

He worked in commercial construction for many years. Upon retiring from commercial construction, he became interested in antiques.  After several years as an antiques dealer, he went on to found and open Heights Antiques on Yale with friends Penny Turner and Jack Lewis.  HAY just celebrated its 25 years in business.

In his free time, Jeff loved travelling and shopping the country for antiques and participating in antiques shows. He was also an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors, being near the water and swimming in his pool.

He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He was a patient instructor teaching them all how to swim, to refinish furniture, to fish, and to play cards.  His knack for storytelling  was legendary and he loved to share funny stories that never failed to put a smile on your face and laugh in your belly.  He kept his lively sense of humor to the end. He will forever be loved and deeply missed.

Jeff is survived by his wife Carol, sister Pam (Dave) Hoyman and brother John (Debby) Patton, daughters Elizabeth (Vincent) Tracy and Kristi Erlenbach.  Grandchildren Morgan (Ben) Krall, Corey Erlenbach, Reagan Tracy, Hunter Erlenbach, Sarah Tracy, Ethan Tracy, Riley Erlenbach, Tristan Tracy, and one great grandchild Ethan Krall.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Patton and Nora Giovinazzo
