Jeff Davis Williams, 91, passed away March 17, 2022, in Spring, Texas. He was born October 12, 1930, in Clovis, New Mexico to Landruth L. and Jane Bryant Williams. Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1946 - 1949 and was honorably discharge as Corporal, at which time he moved to Southern California. He worked as a Conductor for Southern Pacific Railroad for nearly 30 years, then for Smith International in Research and Development in California then in 1989 he was transferred to the Houston location when he worked until retirement.
Jeff was a Lifetime Member of the Elks Lodge and was active for 44 years. Some of his favorite hobbies were boating off the coast of California including many trips to Catalina Island. He and Helen enjoyed traveling the country in their RV visiting family and friends. Jeff always loved country music and dancing and first met Helen while dancing.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, L.L. Williams and Jane Bryant Kitchen, his son Jackson Williams, and brother Leonard Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Helen Williams, his sons and step-sons, Jeff (Sharee) Williams, Ron (Betty) Williams, Rick (Sheila) Bracht, Kevin (Gin) Bracht, his brother, Joe Kitchen, 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Jeff will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
