Jeannette Read Hunt passed away October 29, 2018 following a long illness.

She is preceded by her husband Albert F Hunt of 66 years. She is also preceded by her parents Odious and Mable Read, Brothers Duane and Joe Read and grandson Zackary Berglund-Tebbe.

She leaves behind her son Ronald Dale Hunt ne Melissa of Houston, TX, daughter Deb Berglund of Ft. Smith Arkansas. Granddaughters Kim Beal ne Jeremy and Teri Jensen both of Cedar Rapids Iowa, Megan Walker ne Donald of McKinney, TX Great - granddaughter Alycea Brown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Great- Grandsons Lance and Collin Walker of McKinney, TX. Niece Cheryl Johnson ne Ray of Corpus Christi, TX and Great Nephew Brandon Johnson ne Hannah of New Elm, TX and Great Great Niece Kinley of New Elm, TX

She spent her growing up years attending 17 schools in 12 years. She attended a business college upon graduation and worked as a bookkeeper most of her life.

She was an active member of South Shore Christian Church since 1973 where she and her husband were deacons and treasurer for many years. Her church family was very important to her and even though she moved in the last year and a half to Houston they stayed in touch. She always looked forward to their letters and calls.

She moved into her son's home for the last 3 months where she was able to be with her family and passed away peacefully.

Graveside services will be Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Bangs Cemetery in Bangs, TX.
