On the morning of November 28, 2020, our Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Jeanne Marie (Drane) Dunn passed away peacefully. Jeanne was born in Algiers, Louisiana on June 4, 1930 in the home of her grandmother. She attended Holy Name of Mary grade school and high school.

Jeanne met her husband, Jimmy, at a wedding reception in Algiers and danced only one dance to "Stardust", as Jimmy had a ball game to play that night! Their blessed marriage lasted over 60 years.

Jeanne was beautiful inside and out while exhibiting a pure heart. After marrying Jimmy and having 3 sons, they were transferred to Houston with Texaco Oil Company, where they resided for over 50 years.

Our dear Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy and her parents, Raoul Edward and Eugenia Rose Drane. She is survived by her 3 sons, Jim and wife Michelle, Gary and wife Cindy, Patrick and wife Jeannine; 6 grandchildren Matthew, Danielle and husband Jared Dickinson, Caroline, Casey and wife Carleigh, Erik and wife Emilie, and Lauren Dunn and 7 great-grandchildren Braiden, Lukas, Brooklyn, Olivia, Blakely, Grayson and Amelia Dunn, her sister Judy deBoisblanc and husband Erik Mathies and nephew Marc deBoisblanc and all of her friends, especially Ms. Jane Jones and caregivers at Copperfield Health Care, especially Loretta (Louetta) and Dominic, MD Anderson, A*MED Community Hospice, Houston Methodist Hospital and Houston Methodist West Hospital.

Jesus, I trust in You. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Tuesday December 1 at 1:30 pm with the Burial Rite at 10:00am, Wednesday December 2 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
