JJ's Obituary

Jean-Jacques "JJ" Lalou, 80, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He was born on September 19, 1940, in Issoudun, France to the late Leon Paul Joseph Lalou and Madeleine Nicolas Lalou. In 1983, he immigrated to the United States with his family, and became a US citizen on July 24, 1997. He worked in the international logistics and freight forwarding industry until his retirement in 2006.

JJ is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Michel. He is survived by his sisters Denise Ravaux, Claudine Finn and France Jusserand; daughter Myriam Lanciaux and husband Patrice; son Frederic Lalou and wife Carrie; his grandchildren Aude Simonnot-Lanciaux and husband Adrien, Morgan Perry and husband Jeff, Gabrielle Hein and husband Jonathon, Germain Lanciaux and partner Perrine Letailleur, and Nicolas Lalou; and his five beautiful great-grandchildren Madeline Perry, Spencer Perry, Sebastian Hein, Aliocha Simonnot-Lanciaux, and Charlotte Hein.

A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held at Klein Funeral Home on Friday, May 14, 2021, from 5 to 8pm.
