Jay Thomas Comeaux was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 9, 1946, and passed away in Houston, Texas on May 12, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Comeaux, and his sister, Jean Ann Gilstrap.
Jay is survived by his loving wife, Linda C. Comeaux; his children, Mary C. West and husband Ronald, Wesley J. Comeaux, and Clarissa Wilson Comeaux; grandchildren, Carson W. West, Cooper T. West, Sarah E. Comeaux, and Rebecca M. Comeaux; niece, Monika G. Frazelle and husband Andy; nephews, Christopher R. Gilstrap and wife Beth, Michael Heintze and wife Kate, and Daniel Heintze and wife Cody; grandnieces, Emily Frazelle, Susanah Frazelle, and Natalie Heintze; and grandnephews, Ben Gilstrap, Thomas Gilstrap, Cameron Heintze, Carter Heintze, Cade M. Heintze, and Max Heintze; sister-in-law, Mary C. Heintze and husband Jim.
A funeral Mass for Jay will be held at 10:30am on Friday, May 20, 2022 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1111 S Cherry St, Tomball, TX 77375. He will be laid to rest at a committal service with military honors at 9:45am on Monday, May 23, 2022 in Houston National Cemetery.
