Obituary

Jason Keith Hawley was born in Aurora, Illinois on April 28, 1981, and passed away in Tomball, Texas on August 12, 2022 after a courageous battle to recover from a ruptured cerebral aneurysm in April of 2021.

Jason is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brooke Newman-Hawley; his sons, Patrick, 24, Lucas, 18, and Logan, 12; his mother, Melody Peek and step-father, Paul Peek; brothers, Jeremy Hamilton, Joseph Hawley and Andy McDuffee; grandmother, Betty Enger; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Byron Hamilton; grandfather Andy Enger; and grandparents Gail and Florene Hamilton.

Jason Hawley was a man of few words, but of exceedingly deep character. He had both razor sharp wit and teddy bear tenancies. He was the strongest man we ever knew and so much smarter than he ever let anyone know. He was the guy who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone and was always there to lend a hand to a friend in need. Jason's love of music, history, fishing, horsepower and Texas were second only to his deep and abiding love for his family.

Jason was a warrior at heart and a soul that this world still needed; an amazing man, husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend who will be sorely missed. Our greatest comfort is that he is no longer suffering and is now at peace. Instead of being in a hospital bed, he's having a party up in heaven with all those who went before him.

A memorial service & celebration of life for Jason will be held at 3pm on September 3rd, 2022 at Life Point Church, 38337 Spur 149 Rd, Magnolia, TX 77354.
