Obituary

Jason Alan Barrett, 47, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away on July 30, 2026.

Jason was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and mentor whose larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was the beloved husband of Virginia Barrett and the proud father of Jessica, Christian, Jay, and Damian Barrett. He is also survived by his loving parents, Alan and Ellanor Barrett; his sister, Heather Garza; his brothers, Randall Barrett and Brandon Brown; his nieces, Brianna and Baylee Garza; and countless extended family members, friends, and members of the bowling community he loved so dearly.

Jason was the heart of Tomball Bowl, where he served as manager. To many, he was much more than a manager—he was the smiling face that welcomed everyone through the doors, the person who made people feel like family, and a tireless advocate for the sport of bowling. He dedicated himself to growing the game he loved and inspiring bowlers of all ages and skill levels.

Outside of work, Jason embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved spending time fishing, collecting unique treasures, especially Funko Pop! figures and sports memorabilia, and immersing himself in the world of World of Warcraft. His battle cry, "For the Horde!" always brought a smile to those who shared his passion. He had a deep love for animals, an incredible sense of humor, and a gift for making every gathering more fun simply by being there. Jason never met a stranger and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome.

While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Jason's legacy will live on through the love he shared, the friendships he built, the bowlers he encouraged, and the countless memories he created with family and friends. His laughter, kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit will never be forgotten.

Jason will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

For the Horde!
