Jannett Carol Dennison passed away at her home in Katy, TX on Wednesday November 29, 2023 at the age of 70 years. She was born on January 4, 1953 in Tomball, Texas to Alfred and Geraldine Hirsch. She married her high school sweetheart Keith Dennison from Katy, Tx in 1971. They were married for 52 years and had one Daughter. Jannett was a lifelong Katy resident, as well as a Katy High School graduate (71) and 2018 inductee into Katy ISD Athletic Hall of Honor. She went to work for the Katy Independent School District and retired with 31 years of impeccable service, after her retirement she enjoyed drinking a cold Dr. Pepper while reading books. She also enjoyed trips to the casino with family and friends as well as a love for collecting antiques.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Geraldine Hirsch.

She is survived by her loving husband Keith Dennison; daughter Shelly Tumis and husband Brandon; sister Kathy Passafuma and husband Joe; sister Barbara Kipp and husband Ken; grandson Zachary DeFriend; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you to her caregiver Blanca Monzon.

Funeral services will be held at Fritsche Cemetery located at 10603 Fritsche Cemetery Rd, Cypress, Texas 77429 on December 9th 2023, at 10:30am.
