Janice Ray Stafford Collins & Terry D Collins Married November 6, 1981. We were married 41 years. Janice was the love of my life. We have known each other since we were 2 years old. Our parents Raymond & Margaret Stafford, Joseph & Gladys Collins were neighbors and close friends. Our dads worked together as welders and later supervisors at M&J Valve company. Our mothers worked together as beauticians. Our parents were loving and wonderful and were there for us always.

My mother-in-law was the best mother-in-law one could ever have.

Janice was a loving and kind person. She was the best wife I could have ever dreamed to have. Janice was smart, painted beautiful pictures, could play the organ, a good square dancer, great cook and loved decorating for the holidays, Christmas being her favorite. She enjoyed going to casinos and playing the slot machines. She always won more than I did. We had fun everywhere we traveled. She especially loved to go to Fredericksburg, Texas. Visit the wild seed farm and my cousin Linda & John Hodges. We had thanksgiving on Fridays as when I was working, I never had thanksgiving Thursday off.

She traveled with her mother on several trips, including a trip to Spain and France's religious sites.

She worked for the City of Houston and her bosses loved her. No task was too hard for her. She was always helping her co-workers to make their day better.

We agreed on every topic imaginable, vacations, music, politics, religion, and many more.

I will miss her more than anyone can imagine. Janice was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother will be greatly missed by her son Johnny Ray Wagner, granddaughter Margaret Elizabeth Wagner, and Kevin W. Collins. Other family members that will miss her are my brothers, Bill Maurice Hooks, James Douglas Hooks, sisters, Shirley Miller and Patricia Collins. She will be missed by all her close friends, including Donna Nolte & Glenda Ullery and anyone who loved just being around her.
