Janice Marie Reyes' Obituary
Janice Marie Reyes was born June 27, 1950 to Shirley R. Godfrey-Blaze and Percy Lee. She pursued her formal elementary through Junior High education in Dayton, Tx. She would later continue her education in Houston Independent School District, and Job Core.
Janice accepted Christ as a child, and would later in her adult life unite with Pilgrim Hill Baptist Church in Tomball, and later Grace Community Church in Cleveland, Tx. Although she was baptized at an early age and later in her adult life, a matured understanding season and tempered by the tribulation of life would press her to get re-baptized on Resurrection Sunday, April 21, 2019. Her hope was that God would ripen and resurrect what she could not, but was committed to giving the last day's of her life trying.
She departed this life June 7, 2019 leaving to cherish her memory two daughters, Luwanna (Byron) and Barbara; three sons, Odell (Fonteyne), Willie and Victor. Her siblings Henry III (Cynthia), Shirley, Rickey, Reginald and Mary, Five grandchildren, Tieshia, Aleis, Tanett, Rayford, Selaya, and Timoth; Fourteen great grandchildren and special friend Dinah K. Cochran.
