Janice Beard Norman was born in Thompsons, Texas to Edgar Eugene and Georgia Reeger Beard on August 30th, 1941.
Raised in The Church of Christ, she was active in the church throughout her life and blessed to join the congregation at the Church of Christ in Champions, where she found her spiritual home.
Following graduation from Lamar High School, she worked as a secretary for Humble Oil before her twenty five year career in real estate, where she was repeatedly recognized for her exceptional service.
She loved music and singing, particularly hymnals and spirituals. She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution. She adored playing with her grandsons, enjoyed traveling and studying genealogy.
She was selfless, thoughtful, loving, and giving, always putting others before herself. Faith, family, and friends were the heart of her life.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Jerry Norman, daughter Erin Norman Fujimoto, son Marc Patrick Norman, and grandsons Ryan David Fujimoto and Joshua Norman Fujimoto, brothers Francis and wife Joyce, Michael and wife Nita, David and wife Mary Lou, brother Daniel and sister Margie, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
