Janice Diana Theis Glameyer went to be with her Lord and Savior January 9, 2025, at the age of 87. Janice (Jan) was the eldest daughter born June 5, 1937, in Houston, Texas to Daniel and Irene Theis. She was baptized in July of 1937 and confirmed in 1957. She was a direct descendant of the founders of Salem Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim, of 61 years and sister Lenda Westmoreland. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a loving caregiver to family members over the years. She was a faithful member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Westfield for 25 years and Salem Lutheran Church, Tomball since 1984. She was a voracious reader and attentive spectator of all activities her children and grandchildren participated in. She and Jim always had an open home for friends and family, and she spoiled the grandchildren at "Camp Grandma" each year with endless supply of Blue Bell ice cream, fun and games.

Her life included many years as a Sunday School teacher, Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Principals at Spring High School 1969-1976. She was a owner/operator of Personal Secretary for 17 years, a Charter member of Tomball Business Professional Women; served as Chairperson/President in many clubs, committees and ministries. She began the organization for Administrative Assistants and Aides for Spring Independent School District. She was a member and leader for BSF (Bible Study Fellowship). She was a publicity Chairman for Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) in July 1969. She loved being a greeter at the kiosk at Salem Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her adored children, Suzanne Glameyer Hazelbaker (Robbie), Roxanne Glameyer Elmblad (Scott), Scott Glameyer (Cindy Kirk). Grandchildren: Mitchell Elmblad (Sabrina), Ross Elmblad (Natalie), Dan Elmbald (Ashley), Claire Hazelbaker Meschkat (D.J.), Abbey Hazelbaker Meyer (Tim), Alex Glameyer, Josh Kerr (Nicole), Jordan West Trubia (Cory), and 15 Great-Grandchildren. Sister Dannie Faye Matthieu and Brenda George, and several nieces and nephews.
