Janice Kay Smith Burns
Janice was born in Houston, Texas to Buford Embree Smith & Nadine Brasher Smith. She was proceeded in death by both parents, & her half brother Jerry Buford Smith.
She retired from Tomball Independent School District in her early 60's to care for her Mother.
She will be remembered as a Wonderful Christian Lady, a loving & devoted wife, a loving mother & "second mother" to many, & the Matriarch of her extended family.
She lead her family by example with her Christian morals & ethics & her daily example of strength. She had a beautiful spirit, so much grace, wisdom, & a laugh & smile that would light up a room.
She was always very proud of her family, supportive & encouraging of their accomplishments & quick to share them with others.
She was loved and will be missed by many.
