Janet Sue (Kammerich) Thomas passed away in Houston, Tx February 3, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 52 years John (Stan) Thomas; son, Steven; sister, Margie Buchholz; brother, David Kammerich and wife Linda; brother-in-law James Thomas and wife Kay; sister-in-law Lola Chaney and many nieces and nephew's and cousins. She was born in Sedalia, Missouri to Leonard and Hilda Kammerich on August 9, 1945 and married Stan on August 8, 1964. Jan was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Houston, a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League; holding various offices in the local and circuit LWML and worked annually on Lutheran World Relief Ingathering for Southeast Texas. Jan was the helpmate partner to her husband, moving and traveling through many states and cities for 20 years as a proud Air Force wife and always found and helped new friends wherever she went.
