Janet Elizabeth Fee Cornell passed away January 16, 2022. Jan was born on June 6, 1931 as the oldest of three daughters of David Arthur and Elizabeth Fee. She is survived by her sister Carol McCallum and her husband Bill McCallum, her children, Dave, Chris, Brian, and Kathy and 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Jan grew up in Cleveland, Ohio; was a graduate of Shaw High School. She married Eric Cornell in 1953. After raising her 4 children, Jan went back to school and earned a B.A. in English from the University of Houston and then went on to earn a M.S. in Library Science from the University of Texas in Austin. She was an avid reader and golfer, enjoyed the Tuesday bridge games at the Champions Golf Club, and traveled throughout the world with Eric. She spent her final years as a resident of the Village at Gleannloch Farms. The family would like to thank the staff at the Village at Gleannloch, Vantage Hospice, and the exceptional help of Maria Gonzales who helped Jan live her final days in comfort.
