Jane Ruth Tyroff Scholwinski passed away peacefully on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the age of 81.  She was born in San Antonio, on March 15, 1937; the only daughter of Erwin & Frances (Huff) Tyroff. There, she met & married the love of her life, Richard L. Scholwinski on March 17, 1956 and eventually moved to Houston. Her meticulous eye for detail & flare for party planning led to a successful career as a caterer, florist and wedding venue owner. Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She adored spending time with family, planning events with North Hampton Home & Garden Club & along with assisting with decor for St. Timothy's Anglican Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband along with many others. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Carla), Brian (Edith), Charles (Sandy) along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Timothy's Anglican Church, 6819 Louetta Road, Spring, TX . Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at the Houston National Cemetery.

The family will greet friends Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, TX .
