Jane Forrest Gregory, 81, of Houston, TX, passed from this life on May 22, 2025. She was born on December 1, 1943 to Floyd and Helen Forrest in Olympia, Washington.

Jane was a true adventurer, with a passion for life and all that it had to offer. She was a devoted Child of God, loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Aunt, Great Aunt and Friend. Her family and friends fueled her life and her love for them was unwavering. She treasured the time she spent with her family, always wishing there was more time to be together.

Jane loved being a photographer, spending time in her garden, playing piano, Ballroom dancing and horses. She also loved NASCAR, anything to do with Space and the Houston, Astros. Jane traveled all across the United States, 48 countries, sailing on every ocean and sea and visiting 6 of the 7 continents. She wanted to see the world and she did. She relished in sharing her travel stories and gifts and expanding the view of the in the minds of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, niece, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. While she loved everywhere she went, Africa, Antarctica and the Oregon Coast were her favorite excursions. Her final trip has ended safe in the arms of God.

Jane was a devout Christian who saw God in all things. She was always active in the congregations where she worshiped. She taught Bible School, Lady's Classes, spoke at Women's Retreats and handled audio/visuals for church services. Her true calling however, was World Missions. Jane served as the chair for the Bammel Church of Christ Missions Committee, a position she held through her last days with us.

"Go into All the World" was her mantra. She and the Mission Team served Missionaries all over the world and Jane had a personal relationship with each of them. On numerous occasions, she did Mission Trips to work alongside the missionaries. Her loss has truly been felt, around the world.

Jane enjoyed a successful career as a Business Analyst for Gulf/Chevron, retiring in 2008. During her career, Jane traveled to Chevron sites around the world. She conducted training classes, participated in conferences and hosted business colleagues. She was a volunteer for Chevron Charity events, For the Cure events, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.

The legacy Jane leaves behind is one of devoted love for God, family and friends. A zest for life and enjoying all it has to offer. Seeing God in all things and service to others.

She was preceded in death by: Her sister Mary Forrest and her parents Floyd and Helen Forrest
