Jan Dupriest Hamilton, 63, of Tomball, TX, passed away April 23 ^rd , 2020. She was born March 28 ^th , 1957, in Port Lavaca, TX.

She is survived by her parents, Milton Dupriest and Julia McDonald Dupriest; Her husband, Phillip B. Hamilton; Step-daughters, Kisha Hernandez and Betsy Hernandez; Grandchildren, Angelo Carson, Christian Carson, Julian Carson and Hannah Hernandez; Her sister, Rhonda Dupriest Estes; Brother, Allen Ray Dupriest; Nieces, Danny L. Estes and Koa Estes Park; Special Nieces, Ryan Lanette Patterson and Andyn Jo Park; and Special Friend, Thomas Davila.

There are not enough words or paper to write on to tell about the things Jan did and what she meant to so many people and everyone she met.  Jan Hamilton was a "Light" to all she came in contact with.  She was a 100% awesome, Godly wife, friend, and devoted companion for life. Nothing happened in our lives or our family that we did not pray over first and always.  All people, wherever we went, were drawn to her and would talk to her as if they had never met anyone like her.  She was open and accepting and gave unconditional love to everyone. The only word to describe Jan is she was Awesome! She had a pure heart, a real love and concern for others.  She was a true wife, honest friend, and beautiful giving companion. Jan's favorite scripture was " Keep the Bible always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.  Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:8-9

A memorial service will be held at River of God Church located at 123 McClellan Road, Kingwood, TX 77339 on Saturday May 16 ^th , 2020 at 2:00 PM.
