James Blount Walsh was born on February 28th, 1931 to B.E.A. Walsh and Helen Walsh in Fort Worth, Texas. He was one of thirteen children. He departed this life on July 23rd, 2019 to be with his Lord Jesus Christ.

Jim is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Barbara Ruth Davis Walsh and his son James Kevin Walsh. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Anne McDonald, her husband Douglas McDonald, grandson Matthew McDonald. Also, stepchildren and step grandchildren, one sister and sister-in-law, several nieces and nephews.

James was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Jim was a successful Ford dealer for many years, loved travel and art, working in his flowerbeds and was a Houston Astros fan since their beginnings.

Service at Klein Memorial Funeral Home, 16131 Champions Forest Dr. Spring, TX on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 at 10:30 with visitation beginning at 9:30. Interment at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX at 1:00.
