?James Travis Tullous, "Travis," 47, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017, in Houston, Texas.
A Service of Remembrance for Travis will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017, at Klein Funeral Home - CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065, with Pastor Brad Otto officiating. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 1 p.m. until the start of the service. Following the service, the family invites everyone to come to the Barwood Clubhouse located at 13003 Aste Lane, for a time of fellowship.
Travis was born to James and Linda Nelius Tullous on February 14, 1970, in Houston, TX. He grew up in the Cypress area graduating from CyFair High School in 1989. Upon graduating, he joined the Marine Corps and served in Desert Storm where he received medals of honor for his achievements. He enjoyed sports, fishing, family, and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Tullous; brother, Gregory Tullous of Richmond, TX; his uncle, Dennis Nelius and wife Karen of Houston; his aunt, Estelle Adams of Houston; and a host of cousins and friends left to treasure his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Tullous, and his grandparents, Clifton and Nettie Nelius and Marie and John Tullous.
Interment will be held at a later date.
