James Thomas King (Jim) passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 82, on Saturday November 28, 2020.

James was born in Abilene Texas on July 29, 1938. He graduated from W.B. Ray High School, Corpus Christi, Texas. He was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served the nation for 4 years. He then went into sales for various oil companies.

He loved sports, golfing and fishing. Jim was a loving grandfather and attended all of his grandchild's plays and sporting events. He loved his wife of 56 years and his grandchildren with all of his heart. He taught them the importance of family and God.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. Darlene, and Oleta King.

He is survived by his loving wife Pat, his son Todd and his wife Stacy, and granddaughter Kyler King, his daughter Kelly Crump, and granddaughter Shelby Dyson. He is also survived by his siblings; Dickie King. Pat Kittner, Sherry Myer, and brother-n-law Sonny DuBose
