James Robert Swank, 74 of Tomball passed away October 30, 2016.  He was born August 19, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA.  James was a salesman in the Oil industry and a member of Rosehill United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia K. Swank; sons, David Ellis Swank, and Matthew Butler Swank; 3 sisters, Janet Scharnbeck, Nancey Swank, and Mary Lou Smith.

A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Klein Funeral Home in Tomball.  Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Klein Funeral Chapel in Tomball with the Rev. Bob Webb officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at 11:30 am at the Houston National Cemetery.
