James Leon Musgrove Sr., of Spring, Texas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Born on February 4, 1944 to Alvin W. Musgrove Sr.  and Leona Musgrove in Westfield, Tx.

James is survived by his four children, James Jr. (wife Cathy), Jerry (wife Maria), Jennifer (husband Keith), Joey (wife Rene). Eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. Four siblings, Shirley, Kenneth, David, and Ronnie. Along with many, many more nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

James was preceded in death by his wife Christine, parents Alvin Sr. And Leona, brothers Alvin Jr., Earl and his great-grandson Hudson Massuda and other family members.

He graduated from Spring High School, and attended Blinn College. He married Christine, the love of his life on August 14, 1964. They were blessed with 50 years of marriage, and four wonderful children. He was a lifelong member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. He retired as a General Manager of Republic Heat Treat after many years of service. He enjoyed going to church, spending time with his family, and attending all of his grandchildren's activities. Throughout his life he loved hunting and fishing with family and friends cheering on the Houston Astros and Texans, watching game shows, playing the lottery, jalapeños poppers, and Shiner Bock.

He was a very loving and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and friend. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 5:00-8:00pm at Klein Funeral Home. 1400 West Main St.

A Burial service will be held at St. Matthew's cemetery with reception to follow at St. Matthew's fellowship hall. Pallbearers will be James Musgrove Jr, Jarrod Musgrove, Joel Musgrove, Justin Widner, Jordan Widner, Brayden Musgrove, and Bryce Musgrove.
