James Mannen Land, 72, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2021 surrounded by family.

Jim was born July 25, 1948, to Easter 'Jack' and Margaret Land in Houston, Texas.  After graduating from Sam Houston High School in 1966, Jim married Joyce Ann Buller and they enjoyed 45 years of marriage. Shortly after wedding Joyce, he proudly served his country fighting in the Vietnam War. Upon return, they started a family, raising their three children in Houston. Jim was a devoted spouse, loving father, honored Vietnam Veteran, exceptional Poppie, and proud Aggie.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; parents Jack and Margaret Land; in-laws Charles & Jean Buller; brother-in-law Jim Buller, brother-in-law Joe Adams.

Jim leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, children Debra Ann Hoisington and husband, Mike, Wesley Mannen Land and wife, Mandy, and Jeanie Marie Hamilton and husband, Patrick; grandchildren Rebecca and husband Dustin, Ashley, Malynn, AnnMarie, Austin, Garret, Lily, Brittany, and Jordan; great-grandchildren Callie Marie and Olivia Jo; sister Mary Katherine Stringer and husband, Gary, sister Bev Adams, sister-in-law Linda Buller and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
