James (Jim) Kevin Libka, 73, of Tomball, went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2023.  Jim was born on July 30, 1950, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, the eldest son of James Lowell Libka and Betty Jane Weliver Libka.  Jim is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Timothy Christopher Edmonds.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Audra; his daughter, Lisa Pfaffenbach-Dail; grandchildren: Sarah Dail, Destiny Dail; great grandchildren: Kenton Edmonds, Victoria Webb,  Jordan Dail, Ashley Ortiz, Alice Gastellum and Maverick Dail ; sisters: Pam (Mel) Washburn, Johana Vietry, Martha (Eric) Sutherlin, Ginny (Bill) Elhoff, Sarah (Joe) Frey; brothers: Charles (Lisa) Libka, Scott (Paula) Libka.

As a teen, Jim started working at his parent's small grocery, Libka's Stop & Shop and later graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1968. Jim began his career in Baton Rouge, LA as an over the road truck driver with Overnite Transportation, later acquired by UPS, and after 33 years of service retired in 2013.
Jim was reborn a man of God baptized at the 249 Church of Christ. Through his reading of the word his faith increased and one of his favorite scriptures was taken from 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith."

No words can described how much Jim will be missed. He continues to prosper in our hears and watch over us alongside the Lord. This is not good-bye, it's see you later.
