On Tuesday, September 22, 2020 James Ryan Kelley passed away at the age of 33. Ryan was born on March 6, 1987 in Houston, Texas.

Ryan lived life to the fullest each day. He was a man who never knew a stranger, his infectious smile, powerful presence and heart of gold were apparent from the moment you met him. His authentic presence made you know he loved you with his whole heart, when Ryan said "I Love You" he meant it, and you felt it. He was a gifted athlete, achieving any physical task with ease. From football to baseball to golf his physical abilities were inspiring. Baseball held a special place in Ryan's heart and his skill in this sport was undeniable.

Ryan found peace visiting his family's ranch in Trinity. He was a skilled hunter and an avid outdoorsman frequently spending time in the tranquil quiet of the outdoors.

During his sobriety journey he found sober softball and a community that he cherished. Ryan was devoted to helping others and excelled at inspiring and leading others with his direct and supportive presence.

He was preceded in death by, Grandparents, Buddy and Wanda Arnett and Jim Kelley.

He is survived by his fiancé, Acasha King, their two dogs, Tex and Stella, his mother and father, Dean and Lisa Kelley, sister, Kristin Brennan, brothers, Jason and Austin Kelley, grandmother, Diane Kelley, niece and nephews.

In memory of Ryan we are looking to collect gently used or new baseball/softball equipment for local youth baseball and sober softball leagues.
