James Wesley Jackson, 59, passed from this life on January 7, 2024 in Houston, TX. He was born to William and Mary Jackson on December 5, 1964 in Crossett, Arkansas.

James Wesley Jackson grew up in Crossett Arkansas and at the early age of 15 decided to leave home to go live with his oldest sister Janice and her family in Texas.  James made it a point in his life to provide for himself with a good job working hard in many types of industries but then he went to work as a Welder with his own welding truck. He was very proud of all his accomplishments. He then met his husband Robert Lawson (Bob) and started running the construction business alongside with him. They together worked hard to achieve a great working environment and life together.

James loved to watch sports. We all know he loved the Texans football Team along with his Houston Astros and home team Arkansas Razor Backs.  You can walk inside his home and see all the football and baseball paraphernalia in his front room. Any time you walked in the house you would see him there in his recliner watching sports.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving husband, Robert Lawson; sisters, Janice Evans, Carolyn Reeves; brothers, William Jackson, Robert Jackson and multiple nieces and nephews along with their children.

He was preceded in death by his father, William A Jackson; mother, Mary E Jackson; sister, Debra Slaughter and brother, Walter Jackson.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball. A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball with burial to follow at Klein Memorial Park 2920.
