James Garza, a loving son, brother, uncle, and great friend, left us to be with the Lord on November 12, 2022, at age 64.

He was born on Valentines Day February 14, 1958, to Amador and Susie Garza.  James was known for his laughter, kindness, a smile that would light up a room, his compassion for rescuing animals, and a love for travel.  He left his mark in Cancun, one of his favorite places to visit with close friends, and was always finding ways to make new ones.  He enjoyed dancing and had a love for music, even in his final days.

James was preceded in death by his father, Amador Garza; and brothers, Amador Garza II, Sam Garza, and Eugene Garza.

He is survived by his mother, Susie Garza; his sisters, Cynthia Johnston and Linda Winfrey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.

Rest and be at peace, my brother, from this unforgiving disease of Alzheimers.  We will miss you, like the deserts miss the rain!

Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 18, at Klein Funeral Home - CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
