James Dale Faverino, best known as Bo, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 8, 2024 at 65, with his wife Allison by his side.

Bo was born in Durango, CO on September 18, 1959 to Glenn and Cleo Faverino. However, life took him to many interesting places. Attending schools in Alaska, Ignacio Co, Norway and Scotland, he graduated from Pearl High School in Pearl, Mississippi in 1977.

After graduation, Bo attended dive school in Seattle, WA earning his certification as a Deep-Sea Saturation Diver. Using his skills, he worked for Santa Fe Oilfield Services as an underwater welder. A career that he loved and certainly impressed anyone who knew him.

Houma, LA became his new home in 1978 where he met the love of his life, Allison Molitor. They married in 1985 and celebrated 39 wonderful years together the day before his passing. In 1987 they moved to Houston, TX where Bo would spend the next seventeen years in a landlocked career. It was in 2004 that the Gulf of Mexico called him back to her and he returned to the oil industry with Tetra Technology Inc. and Pinnacle Engineering.

Bo was a bull rider in his high school days, loved all activities related to the water and a neighbor who would show up at the door with a plate of smoked brisket. Family was important to Bo. He loved everyone's children and always treated his nieces and nephews as his own. Most important was his faith in the Lord Jesus. As a member of the baptism committee at his church, he earned the name "Bo the Baptizer" for bringing souls to the Lord, which was very special to him.

Bo was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Jimmie McMinn, Glenn Faverino. He is survived by his wife Allison Molitor Faverino, sister Glennie (Jim) Babcock, nephews Chris Cleve, Tristen (Kelsey) Cleve, Trae Cleve, Chance Kay and Joshua (Mary) Hebert, Jacob (Kayla) Rhodes, Nathan (Kalee) Rhodes; nieces Cortney (Jody) Morris, Kristen (Brett) Chinski and great nieces and nephews Cavalry Cleve; Dylan, Elizabeth and Littell Kay; Owen and McKenna Hebert and Easton, Sutton, Henley Morris, Isabella Rhodes and Matthew Lee Rhodes. Stepmother Jeannie Faverino and stepbrother Curtis Wood, and many numerous loving cousins.

The family would like to thank MD Anderson for their love and support. Especially Dr. Kanwal Raghav, Dr. Keith Fournier and Anneleis Willett, PA. The staff of Trinity Hospice and all the many friends at Real Life Ministries Texas Church for their love and encouragement over the past year. Also, their Discipleship Group and sweet neighbors.

A memorial celebration will be held Monday, December 23 at 10:00am at Real Life Ministries Texas Church at 1626 S. Cherry Street in Tomball, TX 77375.
