In loving memory, James Eugene "Jim" Crawford went to be with God on March 2, 2017, after losing his battle with diabitis combined with its related illnesses. Born in Lamar, Colorado May 26, 1948, moved to Houston, Texas in 1972 to go to Mortuary Science College, and after enjoyed working for several prefabricated steel building firms in Houston until his illness forced him into disability/retirement.
He is survived by his wife Sharyn and sons Jim and Jason, mother Lois Black, 4 brothers Gary and Greg Crawford and Mick and Tim Black, grandchildren Karly, Conner, Baylee and Gavin and sister Barbara WIlliamson. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins living in Texas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Colorado.
Jim was devoted to his family; they brought his much joy. He loved sports, played football, basketball, baseball and wrestled in his younger years. He played baseball in college. He played with and managed basketball and softball teams in his older years and loved every minute of it. He also enjoyed watching and helping coach his boys sports endeavors. He enjoyed watching his grandkids in all of their endeavors; he was a proud dad and grandpa.
He was loved...and will be missed.
