Elder, Jr, was born in St. Louis, MO on June 9, 1941 and passed away in Cypress, TX. August 15, 2016.
The family: Parents James Raymond Elder and Bernice Elizabeth Elder. His brother Tom Elder, sisters Pat Elder Doebber, Marge Elder Schroeder (Dan).
Wife Ellen Elder, daughter Kate Elder Polson (Gary), son James Raymond Elder, III.
Grandchildren Sara Riley Polson and Ian James Polson.
Nieces and nephews: Jennifer Elder Showalter (Rudy), Elizabeth Elder Lehmuth (Austyn), Theresa Doebber, Jackie Doebber, Troy Schroeder (Debbie), Todd Schroeder, Tyler Schroeder (Melanie).
Sister-in-law Celia Giltinan (Joe), Jill Elder.
Jim graduated from Tri-State University, Angola, Indiana and was a Mechanical Engineer, Panhandle, Eastern, CMS Energy.
He served in the United States Army and a member of the Knights Of Columbus.
Funeral Mass will be on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 10:30am at Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the American Heart Association
