James (Jim) Constable, 70, died peacefully on August 13, 2019 of complications from Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, where he was blessed to have a truly caring medical team. Jim was born on March 31, 1949 to his late parents, James H. Constable and Marcella B. Constable. They were long-time residents on Troy Street in Logan Square. He

worked part-time at the historic Animal Kingdom while attending Schurz High School, where he graduated. He then attended Eastern Illinois University, where he received his degree.

His career as a Department and Regional Manager in finance and credit began at Case IH Credit, and continued at AT&T Credit, Sierra Cities Credit, and Reader's Wholesale Distributors Credit. Those work opportunities precipitated moves from

Chicago and South Holland, Illinois to Plano, Houston, and finally, Tomball, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-four years, Janet Constable, his cherished daughter, Jaime Ferrell (Nick), his devoted son, Dr. James (Jimmy) Constable (Kristen), his four precious grandchildren: Paisley Ferrell, Presley

Ferrell, Parker Ferrell, and Ava Constable, and also his treasured sister, Susan Aparicio (Dr. Alejandro Aparicio) of Chicago, Illinois, and numerous nieces and nephews.
