James "Jim" Brian Carroll, 67, passed away on July 3, 2026.

A long-time resident of Magnolia, TX, Jim was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Emma Hatfield Carroll and Johnnie Arthur Carroll. He worked for many years in the oil field industry and had a deep passion for hunting, first with his father, uncles and brothers and later with his son and brothers.  Jim also spent the last few years enjoying fishing trips and many family gatherings.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years, Beverly Carroll, and his father, Johnnie Arthur Carroll

Jim is survived by his mother, Emma Carroll.  He is also survived by his son, Brodie Carroll, his wife, Melissa, and their children, Emma and Chase.; his brother, Scott Carroll and wife Kim, along with their children Katie, Austin, Amanda (husband Dorian), and Mark (wife Meagan); his sister, June Gilmore and husband Tony, and their son R.J. (wife Emily); his sister, Cheryl Schultz and husband Scott, and their children Meagan (husband Mark), Marissa, and Ashlyn; and his brother, Todd Carroll and wife Jeanea, and their children Ciara (husband Drake) and Logan.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life on August 8, 2026, starting at 11:00am at 22715 August Leaf Dr in Tomball, 77375.
